I’m deeply grateful for the guidance my mom and grandmother provided when I faced a difficult decision, reminding me how fortunate I am to have the opportunities they once didn’t. Every decision I make is filled with gratitude for the paths they cleared and the progress we’ve made.

As a CEO and mother, staying grounded has been essential to my well-being and effectiveness. First, I make it a priority to begin each day with prayer and reflection, centering myself before the demands of the day. Second, I carve out intentional time with my family, ensuring that I remain connected to what truly matters. Finally, I practice gratitude daily, acknowledging the blessings and lessons in both my personal and professional life.
Crystal Ball: What do you see for the future of maternal care?
The future of maternal care is poised to be more personalized, holistic, and accessible than ever before. We will see a stronger integration of technology, with advancements in telehealth and AI providing tailored support and monitoring for mothers throughout their pregnancy and postpartum journey. Additionally, there will be a greater emphasis on mental and emotional well-being, recognizing the importance of nurturing the whole person, and expanding support networks that honor cultural, spiritual, and individual needs. This evolution will lead to healthier outcomes for both mothers and babies, ensuring that every woman has the care and support she deserves.
One Lesson: What’s one lesson from your mother that has impacted your life?
One powerful lesson from my mother that has profoundly impacted my life is the importance of perseverance in the face of adversity. She taught me that no matter how tough things get, staying committed to your values and pushing forward with determination will always lead to growth and success. This lesson has been my guiding force, both as a mother and in my professional life, reminding me to never give up, even when the road gets challenging.
