BrightMinds: Luna Aziz from Legendairy Milk

Meet Luna Aziz, Founder of Legendairy Milk, Certified Breastfeeding Specialist, and Mom of 2.

Super Mom: If you could choose one superpower to improve mothers' experiences, what would it be?

The ability to perfectly multitask with superhuman efficiency. With this power, a mother could seamlessly juggle all her responsibilities—managing household obligations, work, and caring for her children—without feeling overwhelmed. She could be in multiple places at once, ensuring every task is handled with care and attention, while still having time to enjoy meaningful moments with her family and some much-needed quiet time! This superpower would make the often chaotic world of motherhood more manageable, allowing her to accomplish more in less time, all while maintaining her peace of mind.

Magic Wand: With a magic wand, what’s the one major challenge in maternal care you’d solve?

Providing paid maternity leave for at least a year to every mother. This would allow new mothers the time they need to recover physically and emotionally, spend as much time as possible with their babies, and establish a strong foundation for their family's well-being without the stress of financial strain or rushing back to work.

Inspire Moms: What message would you send to all moms?

Remember that you are enough, just as you are. In a world full of expectations and pressures, it’s easy to feel like you have to do it all perfectly—but the truth is, your love, care, and effort are more than enough. Every moment you show up for your child, even on the tough days, you’re making a difference in their lives. Trust yourself and your instincts. Your unique way of being a mom is exactly what your child needs. You are doing an incredible job, and that’s more than enough.

Boss Mom: What traits or habits do mothers have that would make them great CEOs?

Mothers learn quickly how to juggle multiple responsibilities at once—managing the household, caring for children, and often balancing work—all while doing their best to keep everything running smoothly. Many mothers also instinctively know how to focus on what’s most important, making quick decisions that ensure the well-being of their families. This translates perfectly to the corporate world, where a CEO must constantly assess situations, allocate resources wisely, and keep the team focused on key objectives. Their experience in managing diverse demands with empathy and efficiency would make many mothers not just great, but extraordinary CEOs.

One Lesson: What’s one lesson from your mother that has impacted your life?

As an immigrant to the US, my mother sacrificed so much and faced countless hardships to give me a better life, always putting my needs before her own. She would do anything for me, no matter how difficult the journey, and that unwavering love taught me the true meaning of selflessness and devotion. Her example showed me that love isn’t just about being there for the good times—it’s about standing by someone through every challenge, supporting them unconditionally. Knowing that she would move mountains for me has instilled in me a deep sense of gratitude and the understanding that real love knows no bounds. It’s a lesson I carry with me with my own children and partner, reminding me to love and support them as fiercely as she has always loved me.
