We have extensive knowledge about the fragmented maternal care market, maternal care professionals, and the moms they serve.

We know what moms think, feel, need, buy, and don't buy from ‘conception to cradle.’

Even better, we can reach over 200,000 mamas and their care providers—from OBs, pediatricians, lactation consultants, midwives, labor and delivery nurses, to doulas—to ask the questions you need answers to.

Founder & CEO​

I have been bridging the worlds of birth and business, managing both payroll and babies, and serving over 200 client companies globally for more than two decades. I am incredibly passionate about assisting moms-to-be and supporting the businesses that serve them.

 

I am a mama of three, a practicing doula specializing in serving U.S. Military families, the creator of the globally taught Mindful Mama Childbirth education program, and the forthcoming author of a book by the same name, scheduled to be published in early 2025.

 

In my role as a Partner with Maternal Care Institute, I am the go-to person for helping brands better understand and connect with moms and their point-of-care providers. I leverage my extensive maternal care industry and professional connections, real-world mama insights, and strategic expertise in growing markets.

Chief of Staff​

I am usually the first person that people meet when being introduced to the Maternal Care Institute. Alisa Beyer and I have been working together for the better part of 2 decades in a variety of roles. 

​

My research experience began with my role as employee #1 at The Benchmarking Company, a health and wellness consumer research firm founded by Alisa Beyer. My role played a key role in positioning The Benchmarking Company as the industry expert who understands the female beauty and personal care buyer both inside and out. I built and maintained relationships from scratch, managed the PR activities and was able to secure an advisory role and a monthly column in key trade publications.  I coordinated consumer focus groups, one-on-one interviews and other client projects working with clients such as Nestle, L’Oréal, Mary Kay, Estee Lauder, and many more. 

​

Later, I was instrumental in helping to found two marketing firms, a research firm, & a startup, all female liquor brand. My passion for working with women led me to be a featured speaker multiple times at The Prince William County Chamber of Commerce’s Women’s Forums.
